Divi 4.00 is now with us and I have eagerly been trying it out.
There are so many new features added and having seen just a few of them so far, it looks like a really great upgrade. The upgrade was a single button click which is as effortless as ever. Once in, there are quite a few visual differences but the main changes do not start to show themselves until after you start working on the site. There are far too many updates to list here but you clearly now have far more control over all elements of the site. WooCommerce pages are now very heavily supported and I am really looking forward to getting to grips with that on some of my e-commerce sites.
The following is a brief comment from Divi themselves.
“Today I am proud to announce the release of Divi 4.0, including the brand new Divi Theme Builder. The Theme Builder takes the power of the Divi Builder and extends it to all areas of the Divi Theme, allowing you to build custom headers, footers, category pages, product templates, blog post templates, 404 pages and more. The Theme Builder brings together some of Divi’s most important features, such as Dynamic Content and WooCommerce Modules, along with the amazing design power of the builder itself to give you ultimate control over your entire website. Divi 4.0 is a game-changer.”
As all my clients know, The Web Hound is already a convert to Divi. We love it and more importantly so do my clients who manage their own sites.
The Divi Theme Builder is a fully-featured website templating system that allows you to use the Divi Builder to structure your website and edit any part of the Divi Theme including headers, footers, post templates, category templates and more. Each Theme Builder template consists of a custom Header, Footer and Body layout. These three areas can be built and customised using the Divi Builder and its full set of modules along with Dynamic Content.
Thank you Nick and the Team!
